ARGH!

I just started chewing a new piece of gum and *CRUNCH* my tooth breaks.

Stupid wisdom tooth! I can't get an appointment until next Saturday, good thing it doesn't hurt cause that would suck having to make it through a week with tooth pain. I hope I don't have to have it pulled. : (
I was so happy not having to have my wisdom teeth pulled and now I don't want to have one weird open holey space in the back. ARGH!

I've never had any tooth problems. Apart from September 24th 2005 when same thing happened. I was in agony the whole time we spent in Paris. By time I got home the pain had gone and it's still in it's stubby state now....

You know, if that tooth gets pulled all the other teeth on that piece of jaw will shift. Over a few months that open holey space will fill because the adjoining tooth will slide over, leaving a bit more space for the tooth next to that one, and the domino effect continues. By then the alignment of that half of you mouth will be different. But it could be worse. It could be raining.

Only me: Um...ew.

Java: I asked my dentist about it. He said they shouldn't shift too much. I hope not, I wore a retainer until I was 25 to insure my teeth would stay put.

I'm visiting thanks to Dykewife and your question on the pagan holiday. I just lost part of a tooth to a tootsie pop. I put dental wax in the missing area to protect my tongue and keep down the pain. It worked. Try it. I also wore my retainer at night as I always do; it covered the broken tooth. Now the tooth is fixed; tootsie pop cost me $945. Never again.
